THE WAFI CITY DISTRICT COOLING CHILLER PLANT DCCP ONE (2005) DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
M.K.M Commercial Holdings L.L.C commissioned the professional services of Green Technologies FZCO to lead this project and deliver a fully operational District Cooling Plant. The construction of the Wafi City commenced in 1989 and over the past sixteen years has developed into a 125,000 square meter commercial and residential development.
Construction of the Wafi City development has taken place in five distinct Phases resulting in five Chilled Water generating stations being constructed to serve each Phase of the development. The total installed chilled water plant capacity in 2005, 18,300 kW (5200Tons).
The District Cooling Chilled Water Plant will have 16,000 Tons of Cooling generated by one of the most Energy and Water Efficient Chiller Plant Systems to be installed in the Region.
The first Phase of the project was completed in the winter of 2006, with the final phase due for completion by the winter 2008.
