Needs Assessment Study was carried out to set up a Factory at Fujairah in U.A.E. for PERMA - PIPE MIDDLE EAST, a wholly owned subsidiary of Perma-Pipe Inc. –the largest manufacturer of pre-insulated piping system in North America, to serve the Projects all through Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as well as parts of Asia.

The project entailed the transferring of process equipment and technology of the pipe factory located in Lebanon Tennessee USA to Fujairah UAE. This 4 Million Dollar plant was detailed, designed and brought into operation based on the Engineering carried out by Green Technologies. The work entailed a factory visit to the plant in USA to determine the operational requirements and implementing same here in the UAE.

One of the tasks that is noteworthy of stating is the use US based equipment in The UAE, which required the use of step down transformers to accommodate the 110 Volt 60 Hz equipment to operate on 400 Volt 3 Ph 50hz electrify supply.

The facility involves four production lines, Office & Workers Facilities, Utility areas for Transformer and Switchgears, HVAC Systems, Compressed Air System, Cooling Tower/Cooling Water System and Warehouse
