Logistic Centre for Sun & Sand Sports

Providing Project Management Services for developing a modern Logistics Centre having a built up area of 18,245 Sq. M for Sun and Sand Sports L.L.C. in Dubai U.A.E. This Logistics Centre will cater to the growing business need of Sun and Sand Sports L.L.C. having leadership in the business of quality sports and lifestyle brands, in the UAE and Middle East, like Nike, Dunlop, Arena, Timberland to name a few.

The layout of the logistic centre was designed to optimize project investment and operating cost despite meeting Client’s operational and architectural requirements. The development comprises a large Warehouse and G+2 Offices together with all necessary services/MEP Services requirements of a logistics centre. In order to prevent damages of Sports goods due to heat, humidity and dust, the facility has been made temperature controlled.

The Project started with the Concept Design and subsequently followed with developing Schematic Design, Detail Design, Tender Process and Execution including commissioning and handover.

The Warehouse racking system has been optimized. In order to reduce energy consumption, the development incorporates Dock Shelter, High Speed Doors and Dock Levellers for Loading/ Unloading operation. The Project also incorporated value engineering solutions to reduce investment, operating cost and improve reliability.
