Union
Tower - (2002)
Carried out feasibility study for
-
Retrofitting chillers or connecting to district cooling system.
- Work included Energy modeling and performing life cycle analysis.
- The installed capacity of the chiller plant was two of 750 T retrofitted to
two of 400 T.
Marley
Cooling Tower Study (1998)
-
Study of water-cooled and air cooled chillers gulf wide.
- The study was based on life cycle analysis of air and water cooled systems.
- The study determined the transition point for switching from air-cooled to
water-cooled chillers. In 1998 the transition from air-cooled to water-cooled
chillers was at 1000T.
