Dubai International Airport, U.A.E - (1990 to 2001)

Dubai International Airport CUC 1, 2 and Terminal 2.

As Engineering Discipline Lead for International Bechtel Cooperation key personnel from Green Technologies were responsible for:

Centrifugal Chiller installation of CUC1, retrofit Chiller. The first R134 Chiller to be installed in Dubai.
Planning and Development of CUC2.
Planning & development of Terminal 2 Chiller plant.

The total installed capacity of the site wide distribution network was in excess of 16,000T

Vancouver International Airport, Canada - (2001)

LEED™ Implementation Program for the phased development of the airport, which included:
Evaluation, recommendation and energy modelling of the Centrifugal Chiller used for the expansion. This chiller used ground water cooling for heat rejection.

InterContinental Hotel, Colombo - (1972)

As Part of the installation crew was responsible for installing the 600 Ton Centrifugal Chiller Plant. The work included the installation and start-up of chillers.

Hotel Lanka Oboroi, Colombo - (1973 & 1984)

As Part of the installation crew was responsible for positioning of the chillers into designated locations.

Subsequently in 1984 due to failure of one of the chillers resulting from poor water treatment was responsible for retubing of the Chiller

Further the Chillers were programmed to achieve energy saving of over 18 %, leading the way for achieving the prestigious Professor Mohan Munasingha award. This data was also used for compiling a technical paper which was presented at the 1989 ASHRAE Far Eastern Conference.
