DOWNTOWN JEBEL ALI - 20,000 TR CHILLED WATER PLANT
The project entailed the planning and conceptual Engineering design of the Downtown Jebel Ali – 20,000 Ton District Cooling Chiller Plant.
The cooling capacity included:
• Stage 1 – 5000 Tons Temporary Chilled Water System
• Stage 2 – 20,000 Tons Permanent Chilled Water System
The scope of work included:
• Designing of the Mechanical and Electrical plant and systems
• Designing of the Architectural and Structural
• Coordination and provision of 11KV systems as per DEWA requirements
• Coordination and interfacing with the District Cooling piping network
• Stress analysis of the condenser and chilled water piping systems
• Controls and Plant automation
• Contract (Technical ) documentation
JUMEIRA VILLAGE SOUTH – 55,000 TR COOLING CAPACITY
The cooling capacity included:
• Stage 1 – 25,000 TR
• Stage 2 – 30,000 TR

DOWNTOWN JEBEL ALI - 3,000 TR CHILLED WATER PLANT
The project consists of turnkey delivery of a district cooling system including a modular chiller plant and reticulation piping. This plant is designed to supply 3000 TR of 40°F (4.4°C) chilled water with a 16°F (8.9°C) ΔT at cooling tower flow of 7000 gpm at 93.4°F (34.1°C) to 106.2°F (41.2°C).
